But since it's not evergreen, plenty of people are using versions which are years old.

Just like when we had to support IE6 years after IE7 was released.

Yeah, I realise this isn't the fault of the Safari team, but it's still a reality for web developers.

Yes, and your homicide rate drops from 5.763 to 1.148 per thousand habitants.

But you do have to eat beans on toast.

Great try! ❤️

But that's AI slop about *total primary energy* sources, not electricity generation.
November 30, 2025 at 6:39 AM
Now you are simply lying.

I didn't claim that 75% of Spain's electrical generation was renewable.

I said that "in Spain, over 75% of electricity generation is from non-fossil, emissions free sources".

In 2024, it was 56.8% renewable and 20% nuclear.
November 29, 2025 at 1:41 PM
OK, your graph is from 2022, and it shows that 67% is from non-fossil, emissions free sources.

Here's 2024, and it shows that 76.8% is non-fossil, emissions free sources.

It was in the link in my last comment.

Yeah, you're wrong.

In 2024, 56% of electricity generation was renewable, and 76% emission free.

Natural gas is not counted in the 76%, it is in the other 24%, the majority of which is natural gas.
Electricity generation from renewable energies in Spain grows by 10.3% in 2024, reaching record levels
Spain closed 2024 with 148,999 GWh of renewable energy generation, marking a 10.3% increase from the previous year and accounting for 56.8% of the total energy mix. These annual figures, the highest e...

Yeah, you didn't check.
November 29, 2025 at 7:58 AM
That's not a given for electricity generation though.

Here in Spain, over 75% of electricity generation is from non-fossil, emissions free sources. Most of the rest is natural gas, burned in high-efficiency power stations in non-urban locations.

I watch a young guy who talks earnestly and animatedly about modern British history.

It's compelling viewing partly because he is so wrong about so many things (though his heart is in the right place).

I guess I'm mainly interested in seeing how stuff I lived through is so alien to young people.
