Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could, perhaps, redeem himself just a tiny little bit if he testified against Trump and told the full story of what he knew. He won't, of course, but wouldn't it be great if he was instrumental in Trump's downfall!

I went to the exhibition at Dulwich picture gallery earlier this year. It was excellent.

Oh no, what a nuisance. Enforced rest for you then!

Well that was probably not part of the plan for the day! Hope you haven't done any damage, and good luck with the crossbills!

There were some Reform people canvassing in town this morning. I had ready my witty and searing response had I been approached and offered a leaflet, but they were too busy arguing amongst themselves to bother. Hopefully they carried on the same way for the rest of the morning! Awful ghouls!

It would take more than that to put her off. I'm surprised she didn't give him a smack in the face! Very restrained! 😄

And he says it twice in case no-one heard it first time. Really what an awful man he is. I can't believe anyone thinks he's the answer to any problem!

I have just finished reading Death of an ordinary man by Sarah Perry. Very moving and beautifully written.

I tried making membrillo once. It got volcanically hot in the pan and spat lethal globs of burning lava everywhere. And it didn't set properly! A neighbour offered me some quince recently. I'm not sure how to politely refuse them!

Oh my! I think I was right not to apply for the driver job advertised recently!!!

Didn't get a badge but getting the flu jab always feels like a proper community event! Loads of people you know in the queue, a bit of a natter, lovely volunteers stewarding and an incredibly efficient process for getting needles in arms! Also feels like a civic duty, people doing the right thing.

My objection is the reason for doing it, it will make no difference to migration issues whatsoever. That and the huge unnecessary cost, money which could be used far more effectively towards better management of migration and asylum claims.

(Hint, it certainly won't help!)

The only one I've ever seen was a dead one. Fascinating creatures. I wonder how much the dry weather and hard ground affects their ability to dig and tunnel, and find food.

It was a lovely get together, and yes, librarians are the best!

We did see a male emperor moth in broad daylight a couple of months ago. That was a spectacular sight, resting on a branch, wings fully open and looking fantastic!
