I worry that tech policy is an outlier in the Lab govt, in that I don't think anyone in the Cabinet has a particular *political* grip on it and so I'd suggest some sci tech policy is moving out of step with what's happening elsewhere. This significant with the Trump/Musk-Vance govt in the US
