RE: the insufferable bathroom debate- obviously the conversations around civil rights take precedence, but also, I've been seeing cis men in the women's room *my entire life*. Usually (but not always!) they are accompanying a child. So what is the issue? This conversation makes me want to scream.

I appreciate you replying and clarifying. I still think the issues with Fateh's ceiling were largely structural (Strib/PAC/etc.) as opposed to Davis vs. Fateh ranking since Koski also fell victim to the Frey attacks, and was arguably more viable than Davis. Which this thread only briefly touches on.

No I was genuinely asking! So the media's favoritism and the racism/Islamophobia/xenophobia are the ceiling lowering metrics, not policy? Then why are we not talking about that and instead framing this whole conversation as "Fateh was too left from center to win"?

3/I am also asking because I don't know much of what Davis' policies were! I think Fateh did a better job communicating his. And if they truly are so similar, then I think OP's graph is misleading and the Fateh/Davis bars should be touching.
