It was reported on the news yesterday that they are in an area of the mine specifically designated for safety when anything goes wrong, so they are at least uninjured, with air and some amount of supplies. Mining is a terrifying occupation; hoping for rapid resolution.

I think that on the whole, organized religion has done more harm than good (largely because people don’t actually do what the religion tells them to) but I agree that we need to replace it with some other moral obligation.
