I'm not going to shrug off a willingness to strip other human beings of their rights. If that's not the part they're for, why are they silent about it?

I've devoted the next year (at least) to only reading books by women authors.

I've known many men who don't read books by women, assuming they can't identify with them, but I've never known a woman to limit herself in this way.

I've decided women authors will be getting all my love.

Now I see it everywhere. I agree. We have been fawning Putin. It will not keep us safe.

When you fawn, you might avoid someone's rage for a moment, but their expectations for you grow, as does their knowledge of how to scare you into submission if you don't play the part they choose for you.

I remember when I first heard the "fight or flight" response expanded to "fight, flight, freeze or fawn." It was so eye-opening. I realized I've been fawning, and instead of protecting me, it kept me more vulnerable to harmful people. Corrupt people can smell a fawner from miles away.

This is the reason some of them voted for this, whether right or wrong, and we know the information they received was curated to leave out the most atrocious parts of Trump that we saw.

I'm not excusing them, but it would be beneficial if we could reach those ones.

His buddy got 11 years for what they were investigating; there’s no way that Gaetz came out clean at the end. They wouldn’t have fought the release so hard if he was innocent. Probably would’ve released/leaked it just to “own the libs” if it did.
