I also look forward to outdoor recess with my students. I remember growing up, we got outside for a 15 minute break in the morning and the afternoon, and over 30 minutes at lunch. My students get outside for 20-25 minutes, and it’s the last period of the day.

Thank you for sharing this! I appreciated reading about the research related to the act of “paying attention.” It made me think about my students, but also about my own habits.
