Umbrella hot take from the PNW: buy a few cheap ones from thrift stores, then you can feel free to leave them outside the door at stores or restaurants - if someone takes it or you forgot it because it stopped raining it’s NBD. maybe someone else needed it more let’s relax about it

Yikes, it’s been a week. I settled in my cozy bed, ready to watch something to forget, I have new, eagerly anticipated episodes of five great shows. Only Murders in the Building, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Task, and the Lowdown. it’s an embarrassment of riches. You guys watching any of these?

WIP for “Two Dogs” (inspired by the film the Jerk) I had been afraid of painting the skin, it’s been so many years since I mixed up flesh tones and I was afraid to ruin it. But I put on Steve’s music and commenced one of the happiest couple of hours in recent memory…

I satisfyingly spent the day doing what I should, eating fancy breakfast and working on paintings. I cannot adequately describe how happy I felt as I listened to Adorable Steve Martin’s music while I painted him nude. Now I’m doing Art Recovery (ibuprofen, hot compress, smoothie, distraction)
