November 9th is outrageously early to have this much snow but EG was over the moon to get to make a snowman

My sister unearthed this card that I guess I gave my dad for his birthday when I was in middle school and I am literally doubled over with laughter rn

Do I embrace the fact that I am a cringe millennial and keep this meme that hasn't been current since I was an undergrad myself in my lecture slides, y/n?

Absolutely losing it at the craft my giant footed girl brought home from daycare

Told EG she could play with her ponies for 5 more minutes before bed and she decided they were going to have a galloping disco using her night light for mood lighting.

"My parents kidnapped my kids, is my wife overreacting?" Buddy, I would have called the police!

Tried to see if I could replicate this and got a much more boring result

Just tried my first mug of this butter tart black tea blend from NovelTea in Truro and it's unbelievable!

Today was part one of Ancient Greece week and I actually had thematically appropriate earrings!

Did u know that theses, disserations, journal articles, and conference proceedings are considered primary sources now? Because they "display original thinking, report on new discoveries, or share fresh information."

Teaching in person today for the first time since 2019 so I think it's time for another semester earrings thread. Starting of the term with these Portland map earrings from www.etsy.com/ca/listing/4...

I got these magnets the better part of a decade ago and it's been utterly delightful to now watch Mawie Cuwie, Jane Austen, Joan of Ahc, and Hatma Gandhi feature prominently in my daughter's imaginative play.

It's like having access to my own very special episodes of Clone High

Not sure if my kid is the only one currently obsessed with making Halloween costumes for every single one of her toys but in case this hack has any broader applicability you can put masking tape on plastic figurines and your kid can colour the tape with washable marker.

Ok fine, take my money

14 years of marriage for these babies today! This past year has been a challenging one for me (disappointing job searches, a new mobility disability) but that's only highlighted what a good partner Aaron is--one who is always in my corner, who always believes in me, [1/2]

15 years ago today Aaron finally worked up the courage to ask me out ❤️

It was the slowest burn romance in our whole friend group, 19 year old me felt like she had been waiting forever, but now that waiting period is just a fraction of the years we've been together. I'm so glad this is my life.

When EG was 18 months old I swore while packing luggage to visit both sets of grandparents and she picked it up 😬.

We solved it with gaslighting. We packed her fox stuffie and fox chew toy and responded every time with "foX, sweetie, foX" until we had not just our families but EG herself fooled.

EG wanted to make "Heeler cake pops" this evening so I tried coming up with my own design and I think this is not going to be a profitable side gig for me

Once again reminding you that if you are taking the trans-Canada highway through Quebec you should absolutely stop at Ferme Cybèle La Pocatière for ice cream. This month's special is a vanilla soft serve and raspberry sorbet swirl topped with a raspberry coulis and a chocolate magic shell.

We are road tripping to see our families for the 5th time since EG was born and it gets more fun each time. When we started we were trying to formula feed in the car, scrambling to sterilize bottles in the hotel, etc. Now she can eat kids' meals, plus she gets a free toy to entertain her in the car.
