I've soft launched my new game in the Netherlands, after more than a year of solo development. I've just had my first purchase!

Naturally you do get a little burnt out on a game, but my excitement and motivation are now through the roof.

It's lovely watching the kids play in the garden with the sun shining. The boy is rolling around in mud like a pig, and my daughter is running around with one of the boy's (clean) nappies on her head like a bicycle helmet.

They're having the best time.

It's strange seeing your gamedev task list for launch getting smaller. Today I'm setting up the production build. I'm sending the new game to some friends for testing next week!

I've been working on a new game in "stealth mode" for a while now.

I'm constantly debating when I should start showing people and talking about it's development.

I probably should have revealed things a few months ago, but I'm enjoying working without any pressure.

I'm no longer at Playsport Games (it's been more than a year now). I miss the studio, the team, the games, and the people, but it still feels like the correct decision to leave. I was tired and burnt out.

I am working on a new game. It's not a Motorsport Manager title (because I left that IP too).

I've been away from social media for a good 6 months now. It's been fantastic for my mental health and clarity of thought.

I'm starting to want to come back, I'm definitely done with Twitter (oh poor original Twitter - what a shame to lose that branding).
