It’s gotta be Chrono Trigger. My first RPG, and the first time I experienced brilliant storytelling in a game. Plus the art and music were phenomenal. Haven’t played too many other games since then that reach the same heights.

Oh yes, those were the exact same albums for me that year. Every one a classic!
