When trump asks why not more people from places like Sweden and Norway my response would be, because your country is a shit hole. Why would I give up my health care and safety for a couple of extra bucks that would be spent by overpaying for meat health care and services?

If your product is priced fairly, and local then you can maybe assume the animals are being treated fairly. What I am getting at is that if your face and your identity is used to sell a product such as food you don't want to be known as THAT GUY... For Organic came about because of the corps.

Here is what I don't get... This is something that you could have known if you actually followed facts. And if you followed facts then to do a good debate you don't go off the deep end. I am probably the Karen's age or a bit younger, but before I debate I always check my facts first. Astounding..

Taking this to its logical conclusion. I am sure the scholars were not happy when the printing press was invented and people did not have to listen to them. Seriously think about it. Before the printing press, you would have to literally travel to a place to learn about X from Y.

You are really missing the point of liberals. Liberals are center and tend to be non-authoritarian. Conservatives tend to be authoritarian, but can be quite center as well.

Of course you are a leftist. When somebody is really right the entire world is left. Of course this is in relative terms and it kinda illustrates we have lost those folks wrt to science and math. You know understanding scale, relative, absolute, etc...

I am sure they are using AI and it shows that Social Media companies don't really care about managing their content. They just want your money. Oh well c'est la vie. BTW for reference I am not a troll on Reddit.

By no means am I against EV's, but towing a trailer requires special considerations which nobody was willing to accept. The ban I am meh about. What bothers me is the process to reconsider a ban. You plead your case in a "tweat" and it gets sent into a black hole.

We don't buy American cars... OH REALLY... What about Tesla cars? Ok now we don't buy them, but we did before. Maybe make smaller cars that can fit our roads. What an idiot.

IMO instead of complaining, and I referring to the people commenting, how about y'all start to protest. Talking on social media is nice, but it does not change anything.

I had the distinct feeling that this was yet another way to sell more ADHD drugs. For it indirectly implied if you are poor you can blame ADHD and therefore we have some drugs to help you with that. When in fact being poor has nothing to do with the problem.

Let me explain why if you don't do that you get bad data. Imagine for a moment that people do the inverse. I am a smoker. I guess I have ADHD, so to improve my life I needs drugs against ADHD. When in fact that is the wrong assumption. When I read the article...

I am glad you brought it up like that. For what this means is that smoking is not the problem, but the fact that ADHD has a tendency to smoke. This changes the statistics and perspective entirely. It means smoking as a statistic is irrelevant in the context of ADHD. That is what bothers me.

Ok let's ignore the adhd aspect and focus on lower incomes, smoking, and so on. Do adhd people have lower life expectancy? If not then the problem is elsewhere.
