I’m really happy to see our project FindMe2care flourish and grow. Come visit us at our booth if you’re interested in patient empowerment in genetic and rare diseases.
Also, tomorrow I’ll present figures and experiences from the first year of patient-determined registration in the platform #gfh2025

Okay, so I totally overhauled the ISO codes plot for #TidyTuesday and #30DayMapChallenge for Day 16 (Choropleth), while also taking into account the native names of the countries as well (which seems obvious, but wasn't available in the initial dataset).

#rstats Code: github.com/nucleic-acid...

How do ISO codes match the country names?

Day 14 for #30DayMapChallenge ‘World map’ as well as for current week’s #TidyTuesday.

I will share the #rstats code shortly…if I find the time maybe with an interactive version to explore the map.

A not too serious and premature contribution to Day 16 of #30DayMapChallenge: an election-related choropleth using #Rstats, #ggplot2 and {rnaturalearth}.

I’m not sure if this is a @bsky.app bug or an intentional, witty way of saying “followed by X, Y and *countless* others”.

3D column chart of parental stress while visiting a cultural sight with a toddler…

#RealLifeDataViz #dataviz

I think we still made the most out of it for all involved family members, so definitely worth it.

Next up: heat map of sunlight exposure of skin with a scale from bright skin to dark red…

For Day 14 of #30DayChartChallenge a heatmap of Bob Ross‘ paintings, or more specific: how many different colors he used in each of the paintings in The Joy of Painting.

Using data from the 2023 #TidyTuesday week 8 dataset.

Data wrangling and visualization all in #python and #seaborn

Close call to enter into #30DayChartChallenge #Day01 part to whole. Not pretty, but should qualify…

Number of cities of over a million inhabitants. Data scraped from Wikipedia.

This year just a few plots, but all will be done with #python on my mobile phone. #datavizonthego #dataviz

Some kind of #DataViz project, where I looked at #StarTrek transcripts and how often characters say „it’s some kind of…“ or variations on that.
(Hint: In the Voyager series they do absurdly often!)

Charts #ggplot2, composition and annotation in #Inkscape.
Data via the #Rstats package {rtrek}.
