A bright day to arrive in Barcelona and just in time for lunch on the beautiful Viking Vela (my first time on this ship). Sadly no time to walk down Las Ramblas as we’re off straightaway for our next port of call. But I did catch a couple of shots of #lasagradafamilia from the air!

Here at “The Elephant” to see the amazing Keala Settle in “Fly More than you Fall,” a new musical tackling some tough and challenging issues! Reviews say the music is really good!

I’m very excited to be going to see Offenbach’s “The Tales of Hoffmann” at Covent Garden this evening. I first encountered this magnificent opera while still a student in Bristol when we performed it with “OpSoc” directed by Keith Warner (I was his humble assistant, and played a few “bit parts!”)

As the temperature drops to freezing, it’s time for the big Norwegian jumper to come out of its estivation!
