Some recent tatted lace finishes! I'm very happy with them. The two small flowers will go on stationery to be mailed out to family, the first two are earrings!

My favorite sheet has a hole in it, so what's a gal to do but mend it, right?!?

There are also Clover brand embroidery needles, a block of beeswax for conditioning the thread, and gold, sashiko embroidery thread. Image shows the sheet with the hole in it with the green backing fabric and the gold thread back stitched around the hole. It is still stretched on an embroidery hoop. The not so pretty back of the work, the green stabilizing fabric has been cut away with pinking shears. The stitches are a little messier than the front side, but this is the backside of a satin stitch. The front of the sheet with the hole mended, and the embroidery hoop removed, you can see the gold thread has been satin stitched around the open hole, revealing a green center.

I finally finished this necklace I've been trying to complete for quite a while! I couldn't sleep last night so I took advantage of the time to (make too much noise and) finish this necklace! I hope you enjoy tatted lace as much as I do!!

Little story: My beloved grandmother who died 11 years ago used to always put her hands on my shoulders and say to me after I left my home state, “Remember, you’re a good girl from Kentucky.” I was never sure what she meant by that positively, but I’ve decided this was her real message.
