Domestic cats kill billions, buildings kill hundreds of millions and power lines kill tens of millions.

Wind turbines are a thimble in the swimming pool.

One Chinese user commented to an American: "We are not enemy, we are human beings (living) in one world!" Decades of hysterical anti-Chinese propaganda is in serious jeopardy. Here for it!
January 15, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Great job, politicians! Your xenophobic fearmongering over a Chinese-owned app has instead created a digital cultural exchange unlike anything we've seen before, and the kids are dangerously close to seeing Chinese people as human beings, just like them!

which goes into effect on January 19, 2025, unless the Supreme Court decides otherwise. Chinese users on Xiaohongshu have so far welcomed American users, demanding pictures of their pets, with some offering to teach them Chinese; others have asked for help with their English homework.

So you're telling me we need to get solar on more houses. Not sure AI compares to crypto mining but let's say it does. Your point?

Interesting choice of 100 miles. Three times the average daily drive in the US. Makes EVs look three or 4 times as needy as they actually are

Two electric vehicles at my house, driven daily and my electric bill is 143 dollars for about 840 KW. Additionally they are usually charged during off peak hours. Electric vehicles replacing ICE is not going to happen overnight. There's no need for intermediate technology here.

I'm not sure why it would surprise anybody. Tesla has had a supervised self-driving system for longer than anyone and it has by far the most highway and obstacle learning data of any of these systems. But sheer miles driven versus accidents might reveal a different number

I don't intend to split hairs. Autopilot is a dangerous marketing term and it's important to call Tesla out for it. The driver assistance functions make it quite safe, even compared to other supervised driving systems and driver assistance systems. The media has made it seem like it's not.

Technically there are no self driving cars sold to the public. Even FSD requires a driver ready to intervene.
