I'm used to seeing old photos of SF from a bygone age. It's a bit striking when the photo is from your parents! This is a view taken in 1959 by my father towards Fisherman's Wharf, Angel Island, and Alcatraz from the Telegraph Hill area. The big wharf in the center right is Pier 39. So few boats!

It’s routine that a new administration takes over official social media accounts from the old one. And the National Archives takes over the previous administration content. This happens across all social media and has done since at least the Obama administration. You just haven’t noticed it before.
