It's a pleasure to pay decent money for a game that provides 10-20 of fulfilling entertainment that I may not even replay.

There is a massive (largely untapped) market for strong narrative led games that can be played casually (then dropped for a week or so as real life encroaches), great satisfying gameplay loops/missions, and fulfilling endings.

It's a puzzle game with massive depth.

I've achieved the first major "goal" in the game. Then I looked at the remaining leads to follow up.

It feels a bit like I've just finished reading The Hobbit and someone has handed me Lord of the Rings at a 1000+ pages saying "now you need to read this"

Finally, any game by @remedygames.com they are classed as 3rd person shooters but don't rely too much on your twitch skills (or like me you can turn the difficulty down a little)

Start with the Alan Wake series, in this case DO play Alan Wake 1 and it's DLCs first. (Then Control and AW2)

Firewatch. Walking simulator with an amazing story.

2 players but only 1 PC, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

XCOM2 + War of the Chosen turn based strategy is great, plus replayable with mods

Okay. Number 1 game to try is Pacific Drive. It's a looter/driver/X-files/crafter mash up.

BG3 (don't need to play BG1 or 2) and Blue Prince are two other good games already mentioned.

Gloomhaven (a card turn based, strategy game that is amazing with multiple players)
