Mine is Batman Returns. My wife's is Kramer Vs Kramer. So I guess that means she'll leave me but then I'll hit it off with Michelle Pfieffer.

I work for a trust that offers an extra day of annual leave for getting the flu jab (plus completing mandatory training on time etc.) and I'd say our frontline take up percentages would track that graph pretty closely.

Start with bullshit members prices in high street shops. They should be forced to compete on price for everyone, rather than trying to trap shoppers into 'loyalty'.

Thanks @mattgreencomedy.com, we really enjoyed the show tonight. We were the group with the English teacher. Even my somewhat right-leaning mate had a good time.

It'll never be enough for dog owners will it? We already have to put up with every open space being used as a canine latrine but they won't be happy until there is nowhere you can go without having to tolerate their animals.

Well your straw man generator is in full flow here. But I'm not really expecting to change any minds. Everything I've said is pretty easy to check yourself, though that would assume an open mind. But this was fun. And decent of you to step up and demonstrate my original point. Have a good one.

Lol. 'This doesn't account for this arbitrarily complicated process I've decided to include'. It can be done. We choose not to allow it to be done.

Try closer to 6 years for a new reactor. The old waste can be used to fuel the later generation nuclear plants. And GM crops increase yield so reduce the land area devoted to monoculture. All pretty good as solutions go.

I'm deeply disappointed with Labour but as long as the Greens remain against the essential technologies for addressing climate change and improving energy and food security (nuclear power, GM crops) then they're just a crank party.

Sorry, I didn't see the wider context to your post. I'd love to be less car-reliant. But the alternatives just aren't there which I guess was the point.

Except the majority of driving costs are in owning the vehicle (which you are absolutely going to do anyway as it's essential to function in rural places) so the cost of those trips are negligible and can be ignored.

So not only are these high street shop membership schemes massively anti-competitive and punitive on the casual shopper they're also a significant privacy risk. Great.

FFS. Not that this makes any difference. Maybe they'd have sold more dark chocolate Toblerones if they'd actually been available to buy anywhere...
