Claims to be devout Catholic, yet his views as expressed are very ‘First Testament’, showing zero empathy for the less well off, ‘foreigners’ etc., and minimal understanding of core Christian principles.

Yes, then most of us realised in minutes that he’s just a pointless shell of entitlement. Highly educated, yet brainless and lazy. Remember him lying horizontal in the HoC? Lying in more ways than one, and disrespecting of the tradition he claimed to stand for.
