- no idea why but this time they trimmed a 1/4" off the top of my book.

FYI Design tips for anyone launching a book - you will need to adjust the saturation of your cover depending on if its matte or glossy paper. Matte paper will desaturate an image, and glossy will over-saturate it. So make sure to +-20% saturation depending on which one you choose.
