I know that historically the cruelty is the point with these kind of people. But I would still hope that the loss of children's cancer care funding was a bug and not a feature. I hope we get to hear more reporting about this specifically.

Wow. You never go FULL authoritarian! What's even scarier is that this isn't just some Trump power fantasy. Republicans are literally calling for him to abuse his powers and turn the US into a full-on dictatorship.

Even better: 170 Republicans defied Musk and Trump's demands and threats. If only a couple of them would have they would have gotten eaten alive by MAGA. But what is Musk going to do? Primary all 170 of them?

I've been thinking about this a lot recently. And one of the lines from this post that stands out to me is that "models from before 2024 did not show this capability."
