I helped build that! specifically part of the Europa Imaging System. If you read about the imager malfunctioning and pointing off in the wrong direction, you know who to blame. I also totally did not and would never sneak a SETI message into its memory

They're vaguely still around and I picked one up a few years ago. I'll be totally honest, it definitely gets less use than my 13" framework, more of a really cool idea or maybe emergency portable PC than a useful machine for doing any work

The problem with making hundreds of these is they're getting randomly stuck to my hands, my clothes, even the floor somehow. Just diffusing throughout the house

I got bored waiting for the product launch so I made a 4 channel, solderless, internal, auto wired passthrough WaveBird receiver. Plenty left to do and the flippydrive takes priority, but since I'm mostly waiting on other people, I figured I'd do something useful

Oooops. I accidentally cross processed some color 4x5s in black and white. People online say it doesn't produce good results, but it looks decent enough to me. You know, minus the $15 mistake

Wait, was that unknown? My unit has the same thing. That's why I came to the conclusion it was a Toshiba custom gate array
