Thank you to my Great Oaks colleagues, Board members, and partners who made this work so meaningful these past 3 1/2 years. I’m proud of what we built together, and I look forward to carrying that spirit of collaboration and impact into my work at the University of Cincinnati Foundation.

The Pinelo Family ended up in Chicago fleeing political persecution and the home country they knew. America took them in and they became citizens and contributed.

Now the callous swindler is making jokes about using our military to invade that same city and rounding up immigrants.

A Cincinnatian who won a pennant with the Pirates and had some great seasons with his hometown Reds. Had a chance to meet him, too. Super nice guy. Parkinson’s sucks. RIP Cobra. #RIPDaveParker #Cincinnati #CincinnatiReds

#Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation. They freed the last enslaved African Americans, two years after the proclamation was signed.
