Changing the password is meant to guard against data breaches and account compromise due to common or reused passwords. Unfortunately this does nothing to protect against rogue employees with privileged access.

Deleting your X/Twitter account means your handle becomes available for someone else to snatch up and use. For someone like @briantylercohen.bsky.social , that means someone else could impersonate him and his brand with his real twitter handle. Best to just change the password and move on. 🙂
