Labour populism veering to far right is the very worst. To claim 'there is no consensus on net zero' because ecopathic extreme right is denying, when without it the evidence-driven consensus is 100%. Labour needs to rediscover the primacy of fact and evidence over ignorance and vested 'opinion'

I suspect Darren Jones is concerned about the Green Party threatening his own first-past-the-post win in Bristol, and Reform getting into power in the face of a weakened Labour.

The answer, however, is NOT polarising, competitive party politics, but Proportional Representation!

Complaints from far right extremists should be a badge of honour. Clear water between correct and wrong, progressive and fascist, good and evil should be something to aim for.

They shouldn’t be allowed. In fact, every single political entity should constantly and continue to press Reform on their ties to Russian money. It’ll ultimately be their downfall.
