There’s also a whole lots of approps for military housing, some of which was needed because DoD deferred these projects to instead build border wall under 10 usc 2808, an emergency mil construction statute, on national defense area land.

Rightfully lots of focus on DHS approps in the bill passed yesterday. But there’s also shocking approps to DoD, like this $1B to be used over the next 4 yrs. It funds:
