Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Here’s what gets me: While any loss of life is tragic, only 29 died in the fires. It’s clear that our first responders and officials did a miraculous job of limiting the loss of life. By contrast, the Hawaii fires were 1/3 in size but had 3 times the loss of life. Why is no one talking about this?
