Thanks Luisella. I'm in the middle of starting up a business at the moment, so this sort of thing has to take the back seat for a while. I'll still come on to post every few days. Thanks for the support! :)

Precisely, which is why I lament the level of engagement I saw on the other platforms. This one is new and user connectivity is still, appropriately, low. It'll change over time as people begin to trust each other.

Don't worry. The history books written by non-Americans aren't going to be kind.

Well done Donna. I'm new here too and have gained 800 in a few very short weeks. I have yet to understand the logic behind lists and how to use them to benefit my page, but I'll get there soon I guess. One thing I'm finding here is that there is a very low level of actual engagement. No-one talks.

He can’t do that in any permanent way until congress approves or otherwise. He can invoke temporary measures as a way to “test the waters” but ultimately the legislative branch needs to ratify it. That may still happen of course, given their sycophantic tendencies.

Absolutely correct. It was a mystery at first, but that only indicates to me that I'm a sane, well-reasoned person. These arseholes actualy love the fact that he's a cruel idiot, because so are they.

Thank you again Luisella, it means a lot. I must get time to organise my list presence, as you alluded to. Busy busy here in Tasmania at the moment with the Wooden Boat Festival coming up this week - a huge event in Hobart. :)
