I believe human existence can be measured in 3 stages of 30 years each. The first stage is learning, the second stage is living and the third stage is loving. We can live to 90s if the first stage of learning is handled well.

Can a Nation celebrate its exceptionalism and still be humble? Yes, I think so. The line from Spider-Man comes to mind: “With great power comes great responsibility.” Let’s celebrate our exceptionalism, America, but add a good dose of compassion.

Jesus taught us to begin our prayer by saying, “Our Father,” or “Dad.” What a beautiful invitation into a relationship with the Sovereign God who wants a parent-child relationship with us. Thank you, Jesus.
