The local movie theater was showing Street Fighter (1994). It was so much fun watching it in a cinema with other people all there with the same purpose - to enjoy it for all it's ridiculousness and camp.

This summarised my thoughts on AI art much more eloquently than I ever could. Well worth a read if you have a few minutes.

Devastating news

I have questions.

1. Why would gingerbread men shaped things matter?
2. How are gingerbread men shaped things different to men shaped things
3. If you are choosing to be gender non-specific regarding gingerbread themed treats, should it not apply across the whole range.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Good campy, violent fun which was true to its roots. Had a plot and internsl logic. Opening disaster and Rube Goldberg deaths on point.

Protagonist was fairly bland but made a few of the side characters interesting. Erik is the absolute stand out in every scene he is in.

A slight upgrade on my own car. I look good in a pricey car!
(Alternative interpretation: I look like Tech support for the Joker)

Was clearing some old documents and I was genuinely concerned on what I might find in this potentially cursed document. Pandora's box for the (semi) modern age!

(It was some financial charging data to the hospital directorate which came as a huge relief)

I'm a terrible gay sometimes - despite seeing comments about the semifinals, I still forgot it was Eurovision which makes it roughly 15 years running.

I've never been one to kink shame though, for those who consider this one of your holy days enjoy every minute ❤️

Bit of a humble brag but I did some very easy manual labour today including successfully using a screwdriver without damaging the equipment or myself.

So butch, so manly - Grrr.

And people don't think chemistry is useful in the real world?

So I'm a travel widow for eight nights. Thankfully a lot of that time is non working days so I get to binge watch/retro game my heart out 😀

Time for my annual mask fitting. I don't have religious or ethical objections to shaving for this, I just look *weird*. Hopefully someone will vouch for me at tonight's Furry Thursday gathering 😀

It was a very relaxed Saturday afternoon with PS2 nostalgia

TomCat has been safely delivered to the vets for some blood pressure readings. The very lovely Vet Nurse noted, with a Sherlock level of deduction, "oh, he's not happy".

Yes love, I had figured that out myself and am currently thankful I didn't lose a nipple. Four kilos of attitude in that one.

Somebody has a passive-aggressive way of indicating that he would really prefer it if I didn't go to work today

This one is simply a treat for myself, no special occasion required 😃

I have an internal "rule" about not doubling up on characters, but I can justify the difference between WandaVision kid Billy Maximoff and Agatha Teen Wiccan!

Robert and I don't really do Christmas presents for each other, instead we just have a "when you see something you like, I'll get it for you as your present" attitude.

So I got my 2024 Christmas present today 😀

Dennys is now available on UberEats. Which would be dangerous if it wasn't 6km away with a hefty delivery fee.

I made a quasi romantic gesture by booking a nice dinner for our 15 year meet-a-versary.

It was in no way stymied by both Robert's gym manager and the entire team of surgical pharmacists from my hospital also booking the same restaurant at the same time 😀

This is what a Saturday night looks like when the cat is away - very rock n roll.

Just finished rewatching the first season of Once Upon a Time and early 2010's Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan are a treat for the eyes🥵

I know some people are justifiably feeling scared and angry at recent developments. I think this is the best representation of how I'm approaching things.
