I honestly don’t think you could play it. It would be the worst game of football ever. You’d have professional players struggling to kick it past 20 yards.

Yeah for sure, although I can’t see it.

If nothing else, if we played in those conditions it would favour Everton anyway. So better to have the game in hand than a higher chance of dropping points.

To an extent. He obviously isn’t the main say. But if he says to Hughes he wants a new striker and he has no intention on using Nunez going forward they will look at it.

You’re being beyond weird tbh. I’m enjoying it plenty. But you can still have an opinion on players.

Or should we just all sit here saying “isn’t this great”.

Sorry, I’ll cut the 70 million pound striker we have up front while we’re trying to win the league who has *checks notes* two goals this season some more slack.

Jesus Christ.

Since when is giving an opinion classed as moaning?

Yes, that’s what Feyenoord fans said about him before he joined. So unless he’s suddenly changed since becoming Liverpool manager I’d say that’s how he still is.

Slot is absolutely ruthless with players apparently. Hence my comment.

This is elite football mate and I’ve backed him far more than most for 3 seasons now. But there comes a time where you just have to hold your hands up and say “I’m not sure he’s actually going to get any better”

How I met your mother.

Barney.

Yep big time! Couldn’t agree more.
December 4, 2024 at 10:26 PM
I wouldn’t even say he’s been on fire for Uruguay has he?
December 4, 2024 at 10:19 PM
Think you just have to take the hit on it unfortunately.
December 4, 2024 at 10:17 PM
He’s a good lad, and my god I’ve backed him but he’s simply not good enough.

If we won tonight we could probably have afforded a draw in what is for us, one of the hardest aways of the season. Now we can’t really afford that it a narrative will start to form.

The pass he made about 15 seconds before we made it 2-2 almost had me launching my phone out the window.
December 4, 2024 at 9:41 PM
Puts huge pressure on us to
Win Saturday though. Because if Arsenal win tonight and then beat Fulham (which they will) we’ll have turned 9 points in 4 in less than 6 days.
