Not that the MAGAts really care about facts, but failing to carry and display a permit on request is a petty misdemeanor (typically a fine of up to $25) — it does not make the act of carrying the firearm itself illegal if the permit is valid.

He could, but we have more than enough votes to override his veto. I think he’ll sign to avoid looking like he is hiding something and then his DOJ will withhold releasing anything worthwhile claiming they have an ‘open investigation’.
