JC is one of the places I feel safe walking with my toddler. That said, there’s still plenty of room for improvement. 60+ years of car-centric infrastructure can’t be fixed overnight.

If inclusionary developments (consistent with UHAC) in towns with an unmet need were defined as inherently beneficial, the gaming around VLA would go away.

Have you ever made it to McKittrick Canyon in Guadalupe Mountains Natl Park during fall colors season? One of my favorite areas in that region from when I lived in Roswell.
