I am devastated today to hear the heartbreaking news coming out of Vancouver. My sincere condolences go out to all those affected.

I have been the NDP candidate for over a year. I have made over 3000 phone calls and knocked on hundreds of doors. I have learned so much from the members of this community.

My job as an elected official would be to represent this riding first and foremost. Look for the pipefitter on your ballot.

Voting for the candidate that best aligns with your values is something I will always encourage and respect.

My thoughts are with our Strathcona County Firefighters as they travel to help the Firefighters of Lamont County. The fire has now spread to multiple structures in the Ukrainian Village heritage site. For those living in the affected area, be prepared and have an evacuation kit ready. Stay safe.

After attending Charlie Angus and the Resistance event today, I am more excited than ever for this election. So many people came together today to stand united for our Canadian values. When you go to the polls this election, you are using your vote to voice what matters to you most. #elbowsup

I appreciate the hard work of my outstanding volunteers. We made considerable progress going door-to-door. Today, I was reminded of my initial motivation for running. Listening to people's concerns inspires me to make a positive impact. I aspire to represent and serve the people living in my riding.

Today is a day to reconize people who have the courage to be their authentic selves. Today is especially important for me as a father of a transgender child. I feel very strongly that the rights of gender-diverse individuals should be protected.

A mind opening documentary brought members of our community to raise awareness of temporary foreign workers. There are over 200 temporary foreign workers that call Fort Saskatchewan home. The fact that children of tfw's do not have the right to education here is Alberta is astounding.
