So how many closures are we up to now and what is the cost to date of all the closures?

You also need to look closely at pet food costs. As an example Purina who make Felix cat food decreased sachet sizes from 100g to 85g but no price reduction. So are they profiteering from the boom in pet ownership. Pet food increased in price significantly during COVID and never came back down

Here's my cat Bobby ignoring fireworks outside despite normally hating the noise. Typical !

Daysleeper. A beautiful melody and still one of my favourite R.E.M tracks. Also feel very privileged to have heard it performed live

His factory in Manchester still stands proud on Cambridge Street. I remember my Dad telling me about its history when he worked there for Dunlop. The signs on the back of the building remain.

Having just travelled to Rome we had a seamless experience. From entering the terminal building after landing, through e gates and immigration for passport checking and stamping, then walking across to baggage reclaim, less than 10 minutes and no queueing. Very similar returning the the UK

Bumped into Judi Dench and her husband Michael Williams in a gift shop in Ullapool in North West Scotland when we were on a family holiday. They were both lovely.

Of course they won't if the station at Stockport is having lines, cables and a bridge replaced. Don't state the obvious again MEN

I've seen Vasa in Stockholm and despite it's brief first journey and the time it spent under water it's an amazing sight now it's been restored.

Just walk around Manchester now to see litter everywhere. I drive down Princess Parkway every day and it's covered in litter that's been there for years. Same through Rusholme, Moss Side etc and all round the city centre

Already an amazing song, reworked beautifully with Justin's vocals. Still gives me the shivers when I hear the song and always has.

All British beers are great and we're happy for our Canadian friends to buy them

The proposed diversion is already a car park. It's becoming impossible to get across the junction by the Bridgewater Hall as the junction is always completely blocked by traffic queueing in all 4 directions. Currently takes approx 10 sets of lights from Bishopsgate to Britons Protection!

But what does it mean? More gridlocked traffic not moving and polluting the city centre as more roads are converted to bus gates or cycle lanes as more and more traffic is funnelled onto fewer roads. Try driving down Chepstow St, Gt Bridgewater St, Medlock St, Peter St, Whitworth St in rush hr
