Dad. Husband. Marathoner. Packers owner. Wisconsin state senator fighting fascism and to unrig the system so everyone can have a fair shot at the American Dream.

The other account is my state office. This one’s me.
I am deeply grateful to those who joined me for part of the run: Seth, Atticus, Megan O'Halloran (who suggested Peacemakers as the charity to run for), Aaron, Jack, Jess, Bridget, Dave, and Stella. It was a perfect day to catch up, laugh, and get some fresh air and they made the day a lot more fun.

Subject: ✅45 mile run

Thanks to each of you who chipped in $5-$45 for the Franciscan Peacemakers toward our goal. We’re almost there!

It’s a beautiful day for a run! Thanks to everyone who has chipped in to Franciscan Peacemakers so far. If you can, chip in $45 or what you can to help hit our goal of $1,000 raised today.

45 miles, here we go…

Get ready for even higher energy bills.

WeEnergies is an investor-owned utility that has an incentive to spend more and build more. That’s probably why they’re funding a new front group pushing for massive data centers to be built in communities across the state.

Breaking News 🚨

Ron Johnson and some of his Republican buddies wrote a provision into the legislative appropriations bill that would allow him, personally, to get a special $500k payout.

I’m thankful for @baldwin.senate.gov today.

The Trump administration seems to have found a neat workaround on the air travel delays for themselves.

The rest of us will have to keep waiting until Republicans decide to reopen the government.

Health care costs are about to skyrocket, our poorest neighbors are about to starve, and authoritarianism continues to creep closer to home.

Hunger, health, and staying alive shouldn’t be partisan issues up for debate.

Mass transit is a public service that should be getting more of a priority if we want to build our community.

We spoke up outside of Project Concern today, along with my colleagues Reps Sinicki, Kirsch, Clancy and Arney to applaud our neighbors who are ramping up donations to food banks to make up for Republicans who are withholding funds for FoodShare for political leverage.

Love to see the people standing up against big polluters to protect our shared environment for future generations. 🐟 🐠

What an amazing feeling it is to know that 7 million other Americans also recognize what a uniquely awful moment in American history we are in and join together at joyous, fun events to demand better of our government than runaway corruption, state-sponsored terror, and fascism?

Happy Halloween from Medusa, the Goblin from Clash Royale, Katniss Everdeen, Haymitch Abernathy, and Donut (as herself)!

Look around and see the signs. Please join us in resisting fascism. Our generations cannot be the one to let America be forced into being a fascist country.
October 24, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Maybe I'm wrong but none of these characteristics line up with what most of my neighbors think it means to be an American. There were attempted moves toward fascism by political parties in the past and America united to defeat them. We must do it again or this is our future.
October 24, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Why do you think Trump is designating being AGAINST fascism a bad thing? Which of these things, exactly, does he want you to be in favor of?
October 24, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Is this enough corruption yet?

Cuz otherwise he’s going to just keep going.

Great signs and great people at No Kings Milwaukee today. What were your favorites?
October 19, 2025 at 12:19 AM
There are lots of way to stand up to the massive corruption and unAmerican actions by Trump and his allies.

Today, it was taking to the streets with our neighbors to again declare: there are no kings in America.

The scariest thing at the pumpkin pavilion is the @brewers game being projected for all to watch. 🫣 ⚾️ 🎃

Despite the pro-fascist efforts by the current Trump regime, America has a proud history as an anti-fascist country.

“simply unreliable”
