I love my parents. So much. But they keep finding new ways to break my heart. I don’t remember what it’s like to have parents I respect whose advice I seek. I’m actively jealous of my friends who do.

After reading my first DHr fanfic earlier this year and reading little else since, I’m embarrassed to say that it only recently occurred to me that the stories I write in junior high wherein my bestie and I met and hung out with Duran Duran, were, in fact, fan fiction.
