I wonder if this is a Switch bug rather than a Pokemon bug. There have been many times where I find my gyro isn’t working in Fortnite, only to realize my Pro Controller is on in my bag. Once I disconnect, it’s ok. Switch might prioritize Pro Controller gyro (or maybe any controller not attached)

I don’t know anything about the new pokemon games, is evolution tied to some form of gyro controls? I’ve noticed in other games, gyro doesn’t work handheld if a pro controller you’re not using is connected

Most of it is older. Even if we don't count live service games like Fortnite, right now I'm playing Splinter Cell Double Agent and Breath of the Wild. Although for the last couple weeks, I've been playing through Tony Hawk 3+4.

It’s such a great way to play. No hackers, no waiting for lobbies to fill, and you get you decide exactly which maps you want to play (even the more obscure DLC maps). Sad that offline play is no longer possible as of BO6.

One of the best ports of the original RE! Lots of quality of life features. They added the RE3 quickturn, and the knife button and tactical reload from RE4. And you can skip doors and cutscenes (not even the PC version lets you skip cutscenes). The exclusive multiplayer mode is interesting too.

Underrated game! I played it on the 360 and think they did a great job of modernizing the story, but I do miss the old cast and the lack of Boris makes it feel like there’s no comedy relief. I really enjoyed the COD-style campaign and gameplay. I’d love a remaster although I know it’ll never happen.

That’s pretty much what GDC is! Nobody really covers it through that lens though so it’s hard to tell unless you attend.

What if it only appeared when you paused? It’s not critical for the player to always see lives. Unless there’s an ammo count too, then I say HUD down.

Thank you!! I feel like I had my best luck with thrifting for game stuff around 2015-2018. Stacks of $15 PS2s everywhere. Nowadays there’s barely anything except Tiger Woods 2008 for Xbox 360. But I occasionally still have a lucky find!

The Finals has this arcade themed UI when you’re waiting to respawn that says “Press Start” but start brings up the menu and does not respawn you, it’s frustrating.

It's completely unusable now.
