What regional rugby that produced 3 grand slams and 3 Celtic League titles in its first 10 yrs you mean?

Can I just point out that 0 is indeed in my estimate of “not more than 40”. It is budget day in the UK so being mealy mouthed and evasive about numbers is all the rage

Points scored by us. He’d be amazed if we scored more than 50. Personally I’ll be surprised if its more than 40

And they’ve done this by, shockingly, patiently building a lead

Will only apply in England, as will
the student support package

Stats on maul defence with and without him will be revealing too

All of them? Or just the blindside?

Harsh on Argentina, great team to watch

Last large scale poll in Wales (pre Caerffili) shows PC narrowly ahead for Senedd and Reform a bit further ahead for Westminster.

We’ve done all this deliberately to ensure more novelty in the make up of WC groups: the more interesting 2027 WC will all be down to Welsh generosity.

There must be a decent chance its from people who want to damage Mahmood as a credible candidate

The last 15 mins showed that both players and crowd cared a lot

And then you’ll be immediately given a job presenting on the BBC
November 15, 2025 at 12:31 AM
Really? I thought it was a game of move the ball towards the Scarlets back 3 players to claim your free try?

Thats true for Paris too to make the obvious example

Not sure that signs they barely believed themselves make for a strategy; certainly the voters weren’t remotely fooled
November 5, 2025 at 7:48 PM
They didn’t have a strategy in Caerphilly and it was irrelevant as they started in a poor third and never looked back. Arguably Wales is the one place where they have been part of a block (as clear lead partner) despite Eluned Morgans rather odd comments about PC at Lab conference.

And South America where the game is really taking off
November 3, 2025 at 1:43 PM
My son spends far too much of his time for his own good trying to persuade his team mates not to vote Reform…..

It should also drive up educational attainment. Interestingly in Wales Plaid Cymru have gone hard on this holistic perspective but Labour just seems stuck in a timid social justice silo. I guess there are advantages in not being able to afford focus groups.

The anecdotal feedback from Caerphilly ( backed up strongly by longer term polling data) is that young people in Wales favour PC over both Ref and Lab

Thats fair but the UK commentators, including the estimable @stephenkb.bsky.social seem incapable of considering that this might even be a factor
October 24, 2025 at 5:18 PM
The amusing thing about the UK media analysis is a refusal to accept that there might be a decidedly Welsh political strand to the result. Of Labour’s rivals on the left PC are the closest to Welsh Lab of them all with fresher policies and better communicators so its an easy shift for Lab voters
