They would be unfairly punished if the show is cancelled

I’d add Van Dijk to that list. You have a spine of a title winning team (add Alisson to that) that will consistently keep you challenging. It makes no financial sense to break that up now.

I genuinely don’t understand the strategic thinking from Edwards and Hughes perspective. £75m in wages secures arguably one of the best defenders and best attacking wide players in Europe for the next 3 years.
You can’t replace that for less (wages + transfer fees).
TAA future is less critical IMO.
