Driving home through Arlington, I saw a guy on one of those metal slotted benches. He was leaning between his legs with an open flame (a Zippo I think) waving it back and forth, I guess in an effort to warm up the metal, or maybe his pants?
So I wonder how that worked out for him?

Exercise Tiger was a training exercise in Devon, England that best represented the Utah Beach. German torpedo boats (E-boats). Actiomd resulted in 749 Service members. Actual Utah Beach causality number of 197.
Lessons learned…. 749 will always be hard number to justify.

Walking through Giant today, I saw something on sale for .60 cents that Vicki must have. Upon my triumphant return home from the Grocery Store I gave her 3 hints as to the magical present I obtained for just 60 cents.

Doing dishes, I set this tray aside to soak. It is just soap, water [a carrot], and a little oil, but wow does it not look cosmic!

The driver behind me had his left turn signal on… and he kept it on, for about 5 miles. So I turn my left turn signal on, (and don’t change lanes). Suddenly, the driver behind me flashes their brights, turns on the right turn signal and immediately exits the highway… out of embarrassment?

If you truly want to if someone is an optimist or a pessimist, don’t ask them if the “glass” is 1/2 full or 1/2 empty… ask the same question about a porta-potty and that’ll provide insight into their TRUE disposition.

(and he pullls the front of the shirt out to look for the label in the front and finds it, then adjusts his shirt)
