Let’s cut to a 17 round season, top 2 play off for the premier. Then have 6 team State of Origin over five weeks, with the top 2 playing off.

That’s the crazy part! They were without their 2 key forwards from last year (Daniher and Hipwood) but still kicked 18 goals.

100%. Andrews should be there too. Dusty should have only had one or two (gotta feel for Houli) and looks like voting panel are showing the same love blindness for Ashcroft.

We should get rid of the finals. There. I said it. Works fine for the EPL.
Either that or we need to give massively more recognition to the teams that do well in the H&A season.
H&A and finals are two separate completions.
Get rid of finals and replace it with a full on State of Origin.

I’m over footy. The denouement is always such a disappointment. Only 5% of people are happy.
I would have felt that way irrespective of who won or by how much.
And even as a neutral on the last day, it’s such an emotional kick in the nuts to see 17 teams viewed as abject failures
