Excellent discovery that Bluesky's AI moderation (entirely appropriately) doesn't understand sarcasm.

Environmental changes that sound small can have massive effects when they key cross breakpoints and thresholds.

Really interesting.
Colour me surprised that this has some robustness to it. On the face of it, those results looked too strong to be plausible.

I'd still look at some of the timing here and want to dig into what changed with the instruments from 2022 onward... Green stimulus/green deal terms?

"This is not genocide. Trust us, if we wanted to carry out genocide, we could do it."

I mean, what do you say anymore.

And where it's not, it's part of managing nature-based solutions to the development *we've already done* - where yet more grey infrastructure won't make the cut or be cost-effective.

The 'cut through all the nonsense and build' attitude risks no nature, no resilience, and no more livable houses.

This one tipped me over this morning.
Why the horse. Human emotional responses are so irrational.

What do you say. How do we stop the death laid on deaths laid on deaths.

Yeah, but who cares what the loudest idiots say on social media. It's not like we should expect this person to kno... Ah, well.
I guess these powerful people are just awful then.

I've had a vision of future 'conflict journalism' - and it's just this story, over and over until the end of time, or we're each eventually hit by a drone.

This section stands out to me and leads me back to work a few years back, trying to get to grips with eco-civilisation - as commitment or greenwash, politics or planning.

Ultimately my (informed by others 🙏) take was a combination of commitment & /domestic/ politics. Intention rather than action.
