Of course. I agree with the premise of year round school, just not his reasons or proposal for how it could roll out.

I also don't agree with any of his other proposals that I know of or that he's in any way qualified to be governor.

That being said, equating education with child care is demeaning. Teaching should not be viewed as babysitting.

I'm a teacher & think we should have year round school because a 2.5 month break causes the students to forget many things they didn't have reinforced during the summer. The 1st month back is spent as much on reteaching as on new material. Most other countries have 10-20 more school days than we do.

I guess. I would totally abandon my elderly mother and my adult children to start a new life in an unfamiliar place to save a couple bucks on my groceries each month. 🙄

My friend's daughter has had a weird gastro disorder since she was born. She feels full after 2-3 bites of food. She has trouble maintaining a healthy weight. She wasn't finally diagnosed with a neurological issue until she was 20. It will be a life long prob.
