Can highly recommend this new book by Tom Heap, journalist and presenter of BBC Country File. Well researched look at balancing land use for food, energy, climate, people and nature. It can be done in Britain if we don't preserve it all in aspic.

So this happened earlier today on the GB electricity grid. 75% of the country's power coming from wind and solar alone.
