Growing up(in the 90’s) my grandmother had a friend who always talked about how the world was a better place before cars and airplanes. “Your world should be small and full of family” is what she always said. She refused to wear a seatbelt in the car.

We went to a Red Sox game in July when the concession workers went on strike. The striking workers handed out baseball cards with their pictures and years worked(great idea) and I was surprised how many had been working for 10+ years.

It’s weird b/c she has been so clear eyed about what is going on, but the lawyer in her can’t see that we are in a completely lawless country right now. She even praised Cornyn this week and said he wouldn’t break the law because he is a lawyer and served on the Texas Supreme Court.

I’ll never forget he really got after Michael Thomas (NO) in a game in 2018 and Thomas had a meltdown and got completely shut out. Chirping is a real skill.

Got a bizarre one last night in Austin telling Allred that the border wall wasn’t racist(?) and showing clips of Allred saying it was. I guess the wall was very sad about being called a racist?
