So, yeah, Trump and his MAGAs are definitely fascist, if not the exact same type of fascists that the Nazis were (e.g., the enemy scapegoat for the Nazis were the Jews, but not so with Trump and his MAGAs, etc.).
So, Jon, yeah, it is correct to call Trump and his MAGAs "fascist".

Trump and his MAGAs believe that white people are an unfairly persecuted, superior race; Trump and his followers think that things in this country have gotten bad and that we need to go back to how things used to be when there was less freedom for "inferior" peoples to "make America great again";

So, let's add MAGAism to the list of fascist parties/governments, along with the Nazis and all the rest. Trump and his MAGA want: a single, authoritarian leader who rules by decree and for whom all of his followers are undyingly loyal and willing to sacrifice anything;

There are more, but the above is the gist of it. All of the examples I gave above have all or most of those features. The MAGAs in America have most of those qualities, too, or at least Trump and his government are energetically working to achieve those goals in government.

It is true that MAGAs are not Nazis (although, there are a bunch of Neo-Nazis in their ranks). But, MAGAs are DEFINITELY fascists. Let me explain. Fascism is a broad type of right-wing, authoritarian, racist, militaristic societies.
