Just saw this posted recently, and someone commented that it was perfectly in character for Byrne to merely say “uh-oh” and also for Eno to coldly note that there exactly 14 muggers.

In my experience, it is the Great Conifer autocorrect: I invariably type fir when I intend to type for, and it just rolls with it. I rarely text about trees, yet something seems normal about “you up fir a movie later?” always astounds me.
