There are also a couple items laid out such as a bag with a few letters/envelopes, along with a few other food items sitting on cloth. Above them is a sword and shield logo posed within a space somewhat encircled by the two trees on either side of the image. There is also light beams filtering in from above. The title is not included in this particular version of the piece. The same image as before, this time cropped to focus entirely on the catgirl and her dragon friend. This shot is cropped to focus on the sword and shield logo from the initial image. The sword has a golden crossguard styled like a claymore. The handle is wrapped in red leather with a circular, golden pomel with red accents. The blade features a narrow ricasso similar to the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda. The shield behind it is styled somewhat like a heater shield but with a raised point on top. The imagery of the shield shows a yellowish swirl on a red backdrop. Just below the the halfway point of the shield are seven feathers (the center feather is covered by the sword) which are gold and red. A very rough, loose, scratchy sketch depicting the general elements that eventually became the final illustration. We see a loosely sketched figure with a dragon friend behind them, though, in this early sketch, the figure seems to be actively cooking something over an implied campfire. Above them we see an old implication of what would be the final sword and shield logo with the text, "Name," in front. To the right of it, we see a note about what type of trees should be the illustration. The top line reads, "ahuehuetla forest," and the bottom line reads, "ahuehuete tree," and has a check mark next to it.
